How does resivo work for facility management?
resivo exclusively works with dormakaba components.

Notes on representation:
-
It is also possible to use components without an Internet connection for common doors. As this represents a restriction in flexibility, however, it is not generally recommended.
-
Elevator and mailbox controllers are omitted.

Setup cards
In resivo, the following types of setup cards are used:
REM setup card
Used by facility management to commission, update doors, move-in and move-out tenants, read door events and battery status. The REM setup card is a physical access medium with RFID technology. You can add one or more REM setup cards for every real estate.
Virtual REM setup card
Digital equivalent of the REM setup card that is automatically generated by the system. You can find the virtual REM setup card number through the resivo admin portal in the real estate settings. You can use the virtual REM setup card through the resivo utility app to commission offline common doors and rental property doors, move-in and move-out tenants, read door battery status, and so on.
Important: You can use the virtual REM setup card only for wireless components with firmware version .46 or later.
Tenant setup card
The tenant setup card is used for giving access authorization to the respective door component to a smartphone or access medium (keycard or key fob) or for revoking access.
Every tenant party (one or several tenants) receives one tenant setup card at move-in. Facility management possess an REM setup card with which they can manage vacant rental properties. However, only the tenants have access authorization for the property they rent. Tenants also have the right to assign access authorizations.
If facility management want to make changes in access authorizations at a door component they need the tenant setup card of the respective tenant. In case of move-out, the REM setup card is also required. This is how a secure and protected authorization process functions in resivo.

Neither the REM setup card nor the tenant setup card can be used to open doors. They are exclusively for creating and changing access rights.
