With access manager and compact reader

You can commission a common door with an access manager 92 32 and a compact reader 91 04 or 91 12 only after you have commissioned the common door with an access manager and at least one registration unit. Afterwards, you connect the compact reader to the access manager via the RS-485 interface. If you do not need the registration unit, you can uninstall it after the commissioning of the compact reader (subterminal).

NOTICE

The RS-485 interface of the compact reader allows for longer distance wiring as compared to a registration unit. The bus wiring to the access manager can be up to 1,200 meters long. In addition, with the compact reader you can bring mobile connectivity to your common door.
