Add and commission a wireless extender

Wireless extender 90 41 (plug or cable) can be used to extend the wireless range of the wireless gateway.

Wireless extender (plug)

  • You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
  • You have the Component management authorization.
  • The wireless extender has been plugged in at the desired location in accordance with the instructions, and the LED is flashing red.
  1. In the menu, click Doors.
  1. Activate the Others quick filter.
  1. Select the wireless gateway.
  1. Click the Support tab.
  1. Click Add wireless extender.
  • The connection mode of the wireless gateway is activated, and the blue LEDs begin to flash.
  • The connection between the wireless gateway and the wireless extender is established.
  • As soon as the connection has been established, the LEDs of the wireless gateway stop flashing and the LED of the wireless extender continuously lights up green.
NOTICE

If the LED of the wireless extender does not stop flashing, the connection cannot be established.

This may be due to excessive distance between the devices or shielding effects affecting the wireless signal on the path between the two devices.

In this case, press and hold the button on the wireless extender until the LED lights up red to reset the settings.

  1. Navigate back to the door list.
  • The wireless extender is displayed as a component under Others.
  • The wireless extender is in operation.

Wireless extender (cable)

  • You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
  • You have the Component management authorization.
  • The wireless extender has been plugged in at the desired location in accordance with the instructions, and the LED flashes yellow for 15 minutes.
  1. In the menu, click Doors.
  1. Activate the Others quick filter.
  1. Select the wireless gateway.
  1. Click the Support tab.
  1. Click Add wireless extender.
  • The connection mode of the wireless gateway is activated, and the blue LEDs begin to flash.
  • The connection between the wireless gateway and the wireless extender is established.
  • As soon as the connection has been established, the LEDs of the wireless gateway and wireless extender stop flashing.
NOTICE

If the LED of the wireless extender does not stop flashing, the connection cannot be established.

This may be due to excessive distance between the devices or shielding effects affecting the wireless signal on the path between the two devices.

In this case, press and hold the button on the wireless extender until the LED lights up several times in succession in order to reset the settings.

  1. Navigate back to the door list.
  • The wireless extender is displayed as a component under Others.
  • The wireless extender is in operation.
