Release via door intercom/smart-home system
resivo features a function for calling the elevator and granting a person access to the elevator and floor using a third-party system (e.g. door intercom or smart-home system).
Example scenario:
-
A person (e.g. a guest) rings at the entrance of an apartment building.
-
The tenant opens the door for them using the door intercom.
-
The person enters the building and goes to the elevator.
-
The person can enter the elevator and select the desired floor.
-
The elevator moves to the selected floor.
-
The person has reached their destination.
In this scenario, the third-party system sends a command to resivo via the API. resivo checks the command and enables access to the elevator and the desired floor. As the person requires sufficient time to move from the main entrance to the elevator, an extended relay operation time (e.g. 5 minutes) is also sent via the API. During this time, the floor buttons of the elevator keypad remain released. If a relay operation time has already been set, it is overwritten.
The release is logged in the access log.

Consult the API documentation for implementation of this function in the third-party system or contact your dormakaba contact person.
