For door components with firmware version earlier than .46 and for those that have been commissioned with the REM setup card, you must do the move-in with the REM setup card.

Tips for a smooth process:

  • For the following process, switch off automatic locking or extend it to 10 minutes if automatic locking is activated on your smartphone.

  • Hold the tenant setup card and the REM setup card in different hands so that you do not mix them up during the process.

  • If you had to terminate the process, go to article The move-in process did not work.

  • You have installed the resivo utility app on your smartphone and are logged in.
  • You have the real estate’s REM setup card with you.
  • You have a tenant setup card.
  • You have the Tenant management authorization.
  • The tenant has been entered in the resivo admin portal.
  • The rental property door has been commissioned.
  • You have some access media with you, if needed.
  1. Open the resivo utility app.
  • You will see a list of all the real estates you manage.
  1. Select the real estate the rental property is assigned to.
  1. In the menu, tap Rental.
  1. Select the rental property.
  • The following view opens:
  1. Tap Move in.
  1. First hold the REM setup card and then the smartphone in front of the lock.
  • Multiple signal tones will be emitted.
  1. Hold your smartphone in front of the lock.
  • A short signal tone sounds.
  1. First hold the tenant setup card and then the smartphone in front of the lock.
  • A short signal tone sounds.
  1. Hold the tenant setup card and then the smartphone in front of the lock again.
  • A short signal tone sounds.
  • As soon as the blue bar is loaded, the following view appears:
  1. Transfer the Tenant setup card to the tenant.
  • The move-in process is completed.
  • You have transferred the access rights to the tenant.
  • The active tenant/tenants might receive an invitation code for the resivo home app. (See your invitation code setting in the real estate settings in the resivo admin portal.)The automatically-sent invitation code is valid once and for 1 month. After successful installation, the tenant/tenants has/have access to the authorized common doors via smartphone.
  • If the tenant has received access media for common doors without an internet connection, these doors must be updated so that the access media are made active.
NOTICE

If something went wrong, start the move-in process again or complete the move-in process, if required. If you made it to Step 3 (keys and settings), there is a high probability that the door component is already programmed with the tenant setup card. This means that you must use the tenant setup card to reset the door component (Step 1).
