In resivo, there are three types of access. The access type depends on the type of key used for access.

Types of access:

Emergency key

The emergency key can open all common and rental property doors (including rented rental properties) of a piece of real estate.

NOTICE

The emergency key may only be used in exceptional cases. The tenant’s approval is necessary to use an emergency key.

The emergency key is an extension of resivo. The extension must be activated in the Real estate settings.

Master key

The master key can open all common and vacant rental property doors. A master key can be created for a specific piece of real estate or customer-wide.

Custom key

With the custom key, you can easily grant a caretaker or a guest, such as a technician, cleaning staff or other service provider, access to specific doors of one or more pieces of real estate and/or rental properties.

A custom key specific to a piece of real estate can be created for one of the following door types:

  • Door groups (group of common doors)

  • Common doors

  • Vacant rental property doors

  • Rented rental property doors with the consent of the tenant

If you wish to issue a guest access to a rented rental property, an email and/or an SMS is sent to your tenant. The message will contain a link to an online form. Using this form, your tenants can indicate if the proposed date works for them and how they wish to grant the guest access to the rental property. If several tenants are on one contract, the request is only sent to the person who has been selected as the main contact in the resivo admin portal.

A customer-wide custom key can be created for door groups that belong to multiple pieces of real estate.

Use cases for customer-wide custom keys:

  1. The custom “cleaning key” can open main entrances to several pieces of real estate, but not rental property doors or utility rooms.

  2. The custom “utility key” can open main entrances and utility rooms for several pieces of real estate, but not rental property doors.

PIN

You can use PIN access to online common doors in combination with the access manager 92 32 and the compact reader 91 12 or 90 02. You can send a PIN for access to a guest or a caretaker via email and/or SMS.

NOTICE

PIN access is not possible for elevator or mailbox configurations.

Remote via link

You can send remote access to online common doors to a guest or a caretaker via email and/or SMS. The access recipient receives an email or an SMS with a link to a landing page, from which they can trigger the remote access.
