Adding an emergency key

NOTICE

The emergency key may only be used in exceptional cases. The tenant’s approval is necessary to use an emergency key.

Activate an emergency key

  • You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
  • You have the Facility management authorization.
  1. Click the real estate you wish to activate the extension for.
  1. In the menu, click Settings.
  1. In the Real estate settings, activate the Emergency keys extension.
  • You have activated the Emergency keys extension.

Adding an emergency key

  • You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
  • You have the Access management authorization.
  • You have activated the Emergency keys extension.
  1. Click the piece of real estate for which you wish to create an emergency key.
  1. In the submenu of the piece of real estate, click Access.
  1. Click the list entry named Emergency keys.
  • The following view opens:
  1. Under Keys, click Add key.
  1. Enter the name of the keyholder.
  1. Scan the QR code of an access medium or tap in the number.
  1. Click Save.
  • You have added an emergency key to your piece of real estate.
  • The emergency key is also displayed in the resivo home app.
NOTICE

To be able to use the emergency key, the rental property door must be updated.
