Adding access with the “custom key” access type
- You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
- You have the Access management authorization.
- At least one door group exists.
- In the menu, click Customer-wide access.
- Click New customer-wide access.
- The following view opens:
- Give the access a meaningful name.
- Optional: Enter a description for the access.
- Select the Custom key access type.
- The following fields are displayed:
- Under Keys, click Add key.
- Enter the name of the keyholder.
- If you register an access medium for a keyholder, scan the QR code of the access medium or type-in the number of the access medium.
Note: Access media can only be used for door groups that include common doors and/or vacant rental property doors.
- If you register a digital key for a keyholder, enter the keyholder's phone number.
- The keyholder will receive a text message once creation is complete. The keyholder must download the dormakaba mobile access app in order to use digital keys.
- Optional: Specify the Validity of the access.
Only a Start date and End date for access can be set for access media.
For digital keys, you can use Set validity to specify in detail on which days of the week and at what times the keyholder(s) has/have access.
- Select pieces of real estate and Door groups for which you wish to grant access.
- Click Create.
- You have created customer-wide access with the Custom key access type.
