Import rental properties

As an alternative to manual creation, you can add rental properties to resivo by importing a CSV file.
When you have large quantities of data, you can use the CSV import to simplify the planning phase and reduce the administrative overhead of switching to resivo .

You can import the following types of data:

  • Rental properties

  • Rental property doors

  • Tenant data

  • Access medium data

The following procedure illustrates how you can import rental properties by using Microsoft Excel.

  • You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
  • You have the Facility management authorization.
  • You have the Tenant management authorization.
  1. Open the resivo admin portal and click on the real estate in which you want to import rental properties.
  1. In the menu, click Rental properties.
  • You see a list of all the rental properties you manage.
  1. On the top left, click the symbol next to the search field.
  • The Upload CSV pop-up opens.
  1. Download the resivo-upload-template from the provided link.
  1. Open a new Excel file.
  1. In the Data tab, click From Text/CSV.
  1. Select the downloaded CSV file, click Import and then Load.
  • The data is loaded.
  1. Fill the desired fields as described in CSV import data fields.
    One row contains the information for one rental property. See the following example for illustration.
NOTICE
Important

It is mandatory that you do not change the formatting of the resivo-upload-template. You can leave cells empty but you cannot delete columns and cells. You cannot add new columns or change header names.

  1. If you have empty worksheets, delete them.
  1. Save the file in CSV format.
  1. In the Upload CSV pop-up, select the file or drag and drop it.
  1. Click Save.
  • If the import was not successful, an error message appears. Modify the file and upload it again.
  • After the successful import, the following pop-up opens:
  1. Click Done.
  • The data has been imported and is visible in the resivo admin portal.
NOTICE
Important

If you want to import another CSV file, include only additional rental properties, and not the ones you already have in the admin portal. Existing data is not overwritten and resivo might throw out an error message.
