Unmap a common door
The unmap function allows you to replace the hardware component while retaining the door's settings and the granted access rights. After the unmap, the door returns to the Planned status and is ready for commissioning to a new component.
When you unmap a common door, you delete the link between the door in resivo and the actual hardware component. The hardware component of online common doors gets a factory reset automatically. The offline doors, you still have to reset manually.
NOTICE

You unmap online common doors by using the resivo admin portal.
You unmap offline common doors by using the resivo admin portal or the resivo utility app.
To unmap a common door through the resivo admin portal:
- You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
- You have the Component management authorization.
- You have a common door in the Online, Offline, Mapped, In operation, or Update pending status.
- In the menu, click Doors.
- Optional: Activate the Common door quick filter.
- Click the common door that you want to unmap.
- The Details tab opens.
- Click
in the top right.
- Click Unmap.
- A pop-up appears asking you to confirm the unmapping or cancel.
- In the pop-up, click Unmap.
- The common door has been unmapped and its status has changed to Planned.
- If the component had internet connection, it gets a factory reset automatically. For components without internet connection, hold the REM setup card for 20 seconds in front of the component to reset it.
- The door can be mapped to new hardware.
