Unmap a rental property door

The unmap function allows you to replace the hardware component while retaining the door's settings and the granted access rights. After the unmap, the door returns to the Planned status and is ready for commissioning to new hardware.

When you unmap a rental property door, you delete the link between the door in resivo and the actual hardware component.

NOTICE

You unmap rental property doors by using the resivo utility app.

  • You have installed the resivo utility app on your smartphone and are logged in.
  • You have the Component management authorization.
  • You have a rental property door in the Mapped, In operation, or Update pending status.
  • You are on site in front of the door component.
  • You have the real estate’s REM setup card with you. (Exception: You don't need it for wireless components with firmware version .46 or later that have been commissioned with the virtual REM setup card).
  1. In the resivo utility app, open your real estate.
  1. Navigate to Doors and tap on the Rental Property tab.
  1. Tap on the door that you want to unmap.
  1. Tap on Unmap component.
  • A pop-up appears asking you to confirm the unmapping or cancel.
  1. In the pop-up, click Unmap.
  • The rental property door has been unmapped and its status has changed to Planned.
  1. To reset the door component, hold the REM setup card in front of the component for 20 seconds.
    Exception: For wireless components that have been commissioned with the virtual REM setup card: Open the resivo utilty app, go to Dashboard, click the button, and click the button. Follow the steps in the app.
  • The door can be mapped to new hardware.
