Manage security
From Profile>Security you can edit your security settings, such as your password, and activate or deactivate two-factor authentication.
The following details of your profile are visible in the Security menu:

Change your password
- You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
- In the admin portal, click on the icon in the upper-right corner, and select Profile.
- In the left-hand menu, click Security.
- Next to Password, click Change.
- Enter your current password and the new password.
Note: If you have forgotten your current password, you can reset it via email.
- Click Change password.
- Your password has been changed.
Activate two-factor authentication
For increased security and compliance to modern security standards, you can activate two-factor authentication for logging to the resivo admin portal.
- You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
- In the admin portal, click on the icon in the upper-right corner, and select Profile.
- In the left-hand menu, click Security.
- Next to Two-factor authentication, click Activate.
- The following pop-up opens:

- Select an authentication method. You can choose between SMS and Authentication app.
- Click Continue.
- A pop-up opens.
If you choose SMS
- In the pop-up, enter your phone number and click Continue.
- A verification code is sent to the phone number you entered.
- A pop-up opens.
- In the pop-up, enter the verification code you received and click Continue.
- You see a message that two-factor authentication is activated.
- You receive an email that two-factor authentication is activated.
- In the Security menu, Phone-based verification is Active.
If you choose Authentication app
- In the pop-up, follow the instructions and scan the QR-code with your authentication app.
- Enter the verification code from your authentication app.
- Click Verify and save.

- A pop-up opens.
- Save the recovery code written in the pop-up. You might need the recovery code if your phone gets stolen or displaced.
- Click Got it.
- You receive an email that two-factor authentication is activated.
- In the Security menu, App-based verification is Active.
Deactivate two-factor authentication
- You are logged into the resivo admin portal.
- You have activated two-factor authentication.
- In the admin portal, click on the icon in the upper-right corner, and select Profile.
- In the left-hand menu, click Security.
- Next to Two-factor authentication, click Deactivate.
- A pop-up opens.
- In the pop-up, enter your resivo password.
- Click Yes, deactivate.
- You see a message that two-factor authentication is deactivated.
